State of B2B LinkedIn: Founder and Company Posting Benchmarks, Q4 2026
Live benchmarks for founder and company-page posting on LinkedIn in B2B: typical post, spread, share above the research baseline, medians by industry, lift by format and posting cadence. Aggregates only, CC BY 4.0.
Data through Oct 10, 2026. Recomputed daily from the live benchmark.
The median tracked founder or executive earns 44 reactions on a typical post, against 21 for the median company page, a 2.07x gap (805 people, 303 pages).
Across 805 fitted people the typical post sits at 44 reactions at the median, 78 at p75 and 150 at p90, next to 49, 77 and 130 in Imagine AI's study of YC W24 and S24 founders (the baseline cohort).
45% of fitted people land at or above the baseline median typical post, 26% at or above its p75 and 13% at or above its p90 (the baseline itself is 50%, 25% and 10%).
For the median tracked person about two posts in three land between the typical post divided by 2.37 and multiplied by 2.37; company pages are steadier at 2.12x, and the research baseline is 2.10x.
The median person in Voice & Media AI earns 69 reactions on a typical post against 31 in Tax & Accounting, across 12 industries with at least 22 fitted people each.
Within an account's own history, carousel posts earn 1.78x that account's typical post while text-only posts earn 0.70x, measured across 373 and 979 fitted accounts.
People posting 4 or more a week over the last 90 days hold a median typical post of 55 reactions against 45 for those posting under 1 a week (19 and 367 people).
How these numbers are made
Sample: 857 companies, 7,077 people and 539 company pages with 97,559 original LinkedIn posts, the earliest from Jul 15, 2014 and the newest from Oct 10, 2026. 805 people and 303 pages have enough posts for a fit.
Model: each account gets its own log-normal fit of reaction counts on original posts (reshares out). A post counts once it is 14 days old; posts with zero reactions are left out of the log fit; an account needs at least 18 such posts. The typical post is the geometric mean, e^mu. People and company pages are separate accounts and never pooled. The baseline is Imagine AI's study of YC W24 and S24 founders, the cohort behind the 49, 77 and 130 reaction anchors used across this site.
Everything on this page is an aggregate: percentiles, medians, shares and lifts across accounts. No account's own numbers or posts appear here. Individual benchmarks are on the leaderboard and the company pages.
